Daenerys barely noticed he was feeling weird at first. She was concentrated on what he was saying about his abilities. The loss of her wings was sure something sad for him, as he had mentioned it before, and not only once.
"I have flown. Drogon has carried me. Maybe it's not the same, but..." She kind of imagined her baby eating her new ally. But then tried to change to a friendlier image. Castiel was riding Drogon, high. "... I can't offer you any better than that."
Then, when he started to talk about his blade and its ability, her eyes widened. So he was able to kill angels. Fortunately, it wasn't her intention to kill angels, but enemies. And sure her enemies weren't angels. At least, that option was out of her mind.
"I won't ask you to kill angels. I'll ask you to kill... people. Will you do it?" He seemed beyond human interests, and he could not be willing to damage people. Which would be troublesome at some point, maybe... But when she was starting to think about that, she hear Castiel's hiccup. She winked, and then saw his empty glass.
"Water. Missandei, can you bring some water, please?" The queen could not help but to laugh a little, and approached Castiel. She put her hand on his back. "That's why I told you wine could be dangerous. Don't worry, you won't die... I mean, I don't know if you can die... But it's not a big deal. Just drink some water." Then she grabbed his chin, so that he looked at her. "Well, tell me. Do you feel sleepy? Is the place moving?
The situation was a little funny, but she felt kind of guilty.
The platinum hair girl noticed Castiel's empty glass. Does he like wine now? Or was he uncomfortable? Maybe the topic was too much for him. It was clear how pure he was, even when she noticed her eyes watching her cleavage. It did not offend her or something, as she knew or thought she knew his true nature. So, no more uncomfortable questions.
"Just do what you prefer, Castiel. I'm sure you'll learn a lot." A smile was offered to him, as well as some more wine. Actually, she did not offer wine, she just poured some more in his glass.
"There's more I'd like to know about you, Castiel. Will you tell me about your... abilites? "
She wanted to change topics for sure, but at least that was an honest question. Her Throne was always on her mind, and sometimes she imagined the coming war. She needed an image to picture Castiel helping her. And also, she was a simple human. Nothing special apart from being unable to get burnt. She didn't know how to fight, but sure he did.
The queen could not avoid noticing the embarrassment of the Angel.
"Castiel, I'm afraid you'll have to experience it by yourself. Or else, you'll never know." Even Missandei could not help smiling a little bit this time. The topic on the table was certainly not very formal, but Daenerys was entertained. She had never talked about such things in such way with any other person. And suddenly, a doubt came to her mind.
"Can you... Can you do it? I mean, if you were to do it, you'd be able, wouldn't you?"
She was curious, and silent. Embarrassed, also, for asking that. She decided to drink another sip of wine, then.
"Or is it more comfortable for you to observe?"
She had not improved anything. But she was sure Castiel would answer honestly.
A gentle smile came out of her mouth when listening to him. He looked like he really thought she was fierce and mad. "Mercy... Well, maybe he's the only one who deserves some of it." Jorah spent time with her since the beginning, and it was difficult to forget all the things he did for her. The rest of her army was "new". She was not able to imagine Missandei betraying her, but sure she would not have mercy.
She tried to vanish these ideas off her mind with a sip of wine.
And fortunately, Castiel's next question took her away of those thoughts. She kind of widened her eyes a little, so as not to laugh. Then, she cleared her throat
"Yes, I can tell you by experience. Uhm..." Her face showed her effort to find the right words. "It's repetitive, but maybe one of the few thinks people like repeating during lifetime. Our bodies... uhm... are adapted to enjoy it, you see. If you are able to observe again, pay attention to the faces, and you'll see."
It was like trying to explain things to a child. Which made her laugh anyways. Missandei looked a little bit shocked about how they were able to talk about "that" in such a relaxing way.
